View Full Version : A Bisexual Blog

I've been looking for bi or homosexual oriented blogs for some time and finally found what seems to be a pretty good one. This Bi Like Me blog (http://bilikeme2.blogspot.com/?zx=6b9fff2e26261f1f) is written by a 30 something year old, closeted guy. I've found a lot of his posts a fun read. Just thought I'd point it out in case any of you are like me and can't get enough reading and commenting on bi/ homo issues.
I'd like to find some good xxx bi/homo blogs but those are far and few between. Most of the ones I've been finding are just collections of photographs, rarely updated and often both.

There are a couple of pictures on that site where the models look very young. Hope they are not crossing the line.
I've seen a lot of pics and videos where the cute guys seemed so young to me I thought they might be underage, but I'm thinking it's unlikely.
I say that only because I'm constantly surprised, as I get older and older, how young some of the "kids" look that I see buying booze and cigarettes. I'd be thinking "No way!", but the clerk cards them and, sure enough, they're 18 or 21.

Thanks for posting this blogsite Fred.
I find it easy to read. It expresses the thoughts of a bi married guy and shows the conflict of being bisexual for many men. He has a clean simple writing style that I enjoy reading. He is telling his own personal story and thoughts. I like it.
I find the photos of the guys a bit distracting and he definitely seems to enjoy the cute hunky muscled toned factor. As far as the age of the young men, he posts in the upper left corner that he has captured these images from the internet. He considers them in the free domain. He offers to take down the images immediately if requested by the copyright owner.
There are even some commentators who seem to be out after him condemning him. Hmm it seems similar to this site but it is only one bisexual man's view...lol I do have to wonder if this type of harassment is aimed at bisexual men in particular for not fulfilling the patriarchal expectations for men.
He references a davey ravey web site guy in one blog section. I went there but didn't fully read that blog before I lost it. There was another blog created by a Canuck on this site at one time. It gave his unfolding story about his emerging life as a bisexual or maybe gay man after divorce. Sorry but I can not remember it.

Agreed, for the most part. I enjoy the cute guys, but they are distracting from what I think his purpose for the blog is.

Are you referring to the relatively recent posts by danreidbarmi (spelling might be wrong) who recently outed himself to the wife and told her he was philandering with other men? The guy who's writing the book?

No, I definitely am not referring to dan. He was a Canadian man in his thirties who had a three year old son and an ex wife. He wrote in his blog about his thoughts about his son, his ex wife and his same sex romantic developments. The last time that I found the site he had been writing about a year after his marriage broke up and it was about that first year. Sorry, but I can not recall the title of the blog nor if the guy is still posting on in.

Here's another bi blog (http://bderrekson.blogspot.com/) I found via a link from the bilikeme blog. Looks like he just started this one as there's no archives.

Nice blogs. I have often thought of writing on a blog about some of my sexual experiences. No names needed.

I've been finding more and more bi and homo blogs since I made the original post here. There's a lot of them, although many aren't updated often. The ones I like best are by married bi or homo guys, most of whom are closeted. I get the sense there's a great deal of relief from both the bloggers and those commenting on the blogs that they have some way to communicate with other like minded folks what's on their mind.
There's a number of "gay" blogs out there, too, but I've found most of them are just collections of pictures of naked guys and don't find much reason to have them on my list.

I'd encourage you to do so. I started one of my own a few months ago although I'm keeping it distant from the real me unlike I do here. I'd strongly suggest using blogspot for blogging. I got stuck with Wordpress and it sucks compared to blogspot.
The reason I know blogspot is easier to use is I have a straight blog with blogspot. I couldn't use blogspot for my queer blog because google (which runs blogspot) kept recognizing me as the real me when I tried opening a separate account with blogspot for my queer blog. I shut the queer blogspot blog down very quickly after I almost made a post under my queer account name to my straight blog.
That was a close one.

One of the worst things i noticed a few yrs ago was a grandmother asking her daugter for a fag, she said "ask your grandson". The 8yr old handed her one and lit one for himself- rough place Plymouth!
