Hello everyone!

I have met this girl a few times at a friends house. She's really cute and not at all shy. One night she came into my work and asked me if I am into girls (I am female, and yes, I am sexually attracted to females) and asked if she could have my number. I don't really get why she's attracted to me. SO, I have a question for you all, have you ever hesitated on getting together with someone of your own sex because you felt that your attractiveness did not match theirs?

Thanks!

Well welcome, now since I'm straight I can't really answer the question but then again don't we hesitate with either gender if we feel something is wrong with us?

Hello, sugar. Thanks for the welcome. That's very true. I guess what I mostly mean is, I know I don't have the body of a aerobics master and I'm fine with that. However, this girl is so petite and fit looking. I guess my hesitation is mostly based on what my body looks like...and not just the weight factor. I don't consider myself fat haha.

if people dated based around looks... then... there would be a lot of us males wanking one hell of a site more........ cos we didn't just fall out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.... we climbed the rest of the forest as well......

the only times I got asked for my number, it was a counselling client ... or the prison cell officer..... and the only time I got told by a male stranger that he has something long and hard for me and he could put it to good use... it was a cop talking about his police baton......

if somebody wants ya number, they are showing interest..... so go with it... never look a gift horse in the mouth..... well unless they are a real horse and can make milk curdle in the cow... or you can be drinking for a week straight and still think that a sheep is the better option......

HAHAHAHA, thanks for making light of the forum. I like silly people. Well I know not to look a gift horse in the mouth....but I suppose this is just a personal issue I'll have to deal with alone, ya know? :)

take it as a joke if you want, but most people will tell you that if a person shows interest, go with it.... its better than spending the next few years wondering if you made the right choice by not reacting....

the lady is interested, make your choice..... cos regardless of what we say... it comes down to that

No, but then again I've never cared what anyone thought of my looks. Just my :2cents:

hi moon candy, i often wonder this. my hubby and i were apart for his work usually. when he came home i used to be all over him like a rash. he's so fit and sexy, i'd used to wonder if he noticed my backside with the dimples and occassionally the extra grippy parts. in the mirror i would cringe, but he never noticed and we would be at it like dogs in heat (i hope that doesn't sound too graphic). he has a bad psorias rash on bits of his body that he was always very conscious of. i never noticed it. i was too busy making him 'ooh' and 'aah'. anyway, bottom line, what we focus on, is not what our partner focuses on. if it were, they wouldn't be with us. so, go out for a drink, take the edge off your nerves and go with the flow. see what happens. i wish you the best. hug, b

Hi Candy, welcome. I'm wondering if you are thinking that the girl wasnt really into asking you for your number as much as she was fishing for info, and is maybe the type who would just use this info to be stupid and make fun of people....
Some people can be buttheads and just pull idiot pranks on people for the hell of it. I'm hoping she isnt, and that ya'll would have a great time together.;)
Have fun Darlin. Play safe.

Welcome home! Great question...........

In an age of many striving for "perfect" bodies, there is an occasional oasis of rational thought and attraction.

My GF is voluptuous, vivacious, with an exaggerated hour-glass figure. I am heartened as she has been hit on by women, who would have what can be called model-class figures.

She, however, as only succumbed to ladies who share her intellectual, emotional, and sensual needs, regardless of their shapes........or anyone's idea of what beauty is.

Your new friend seems to be one of those. Have fun!
