Delighted to see the equalities minister in the left-right coalition government here has announced the timetable to get us to having same-sex marriage in place before the next election. Fab news for many people.

Hope they'll extend civil partnerships to any couple too, so everyone has the choice of the "M" word or something without the history/baggage that puts some people off it.

am in a civil partnership..am married.. who cares wot the law and society calls it...but Kate and I are married... we are as united in love and in union as any heterosexual couple... I'll take it sure when they accept it for what it is.. but we know are married and bugger what the law or anyone else says...
