Have been shaved and trimmed for years now. Did it the first time just because, and really liked the way I felt. Tried various hair stlyles, and settled on the 'landing strip' look. Totally hairless is a bit too pre-pubescent for me.

After shaving for many years, I tried plucking with tweasers. Much happier with the results.

Downside: Plucking takes a lot longer. Plus, years of shaving led to a bout with ingrown hairs.

Upside: Much nicer 'finish' and feel. No more 'five o'clock' shadow. And the longer I pluck, the fewer hairs, and the finer the hairs, that show up.

I have shaved before but it's so itchy afterward everywhere. I only shave my armpits and my face. I ussually use masking tape for the rest of my body ;)
