Hi

First time posting.

I have a question on how to know when someone might be interested in a same sex encounter?

My ability to know if someone is hitting on me or flirting with me is minimal.

The only time I knew a man was coming on to me was when I was 18 (long ago) and this English fellow said, " I would like to suck your cock". That time I understood, unfortunately I did not fully understand myself at the time.

I travel and spend time in hotel bars and do not really understand what to look for in someone to know if they are interested in me, in that way

Other than what the English guy said to me, what should I look for or listen for?

What do people say to each other?

What do I say to someone if I am interested in initiating something more?

It is not like people have bandannas hanging out of their pockets :flag3: anymore, or at least not where I am drinking.

Maybe some of you pick people up from time to time, if so how, what do you say, what do others say to you.

Sorry if this sounds elementary.

Also it would be fun to hear some of the pick up lines people have used or received in a same sex situation.

Thanks

My experience is all a decade old, but one sure way to know if someone has taken notice of you is whether they are looking at you. Pretty elementary, sure. But if you catch someone repeatedly sneaking peaks at you, that's a good sign. Pick up lines are pretty cheesy, I would just happen to find myself beside the person and say, "hi". If they look like they want to talk, then you can keep chatting. If they make a point of mentioning a boyfriend or girlfriend, it's usually time to make a graceful exit.
