It's a new show on the SyFy channel and the main character is a succubus. She seduces men and women. Anyone else watch? What are your thoughts?

That sounds like a show I would love to watch, when is it on?

Is an incubus is the evil male demon counterpart for an evil female demon succubus? Does an incubus seduce women and men too? Is there a 'bus' name for a bi man or bi woman or bi couple who likes seducing (and being seduced by) bi men, bi women and bi couples (or any combination thereof) and then having hot, lustful, erotic, sensual, naughty (but non-evil, non-vampiric, non-demonic, non-supernatural) sex together? Perhaps that term would be "omnibus", the plural of which would be "omnibi" and perhaps there are many of us! I bet there's never gonna be a TV show about an omnibus or omnibi because we're just ordinary everyday people-next-door types ! LMAO

I have been watching the show that airs before that one, "Being Human" for a while now.. I haven't quite brought myself to watch "Lost Girl" yet..one adult fantasy soap opera is plenty for me - fills me up with a jumbled up bunch of emotions for no good reason whatsoever. Don't really want to entertain the idea of a psychic vampire for some reason..well that and it's all I can do to stay awake to watch the first program, the second one airs even later than that.

I don't watch Being Human as I made the mistake? of watching the first season of the British version and the American version (the first couple episodes anyway) were just like the same but not, and just made me cringe a little cause it wasn't the British version : ]

Incubus is the male counterpart, but usually succubi and incubi only seduce men and women respectively in traditional folklore. That's why I thought it was sort of relevant that she seduces both in this case. This weeks episode included a pretty hot MFF (though it is on cable you pervies out there :P), which is actually what lead me to post on here in the first place. I didn't want to say too much cause I wanted to see what people thought about it without putting too much input myself and coloring the field.

I'm not sure being represented on television as someone who needs to have sex to stay alive is the best, BUT I do like that so far it's been pretty matter of fact that she seduces both men and women and sleeps with them and flirts with them and this is seen as normal : ]

Watched the first episode, it was .. interesting .. they certainly were very liberal with the FF innuendo..

I love it - the plot's yet another interchangeable Buffy-ish magic world of goodies and baddies, but there's a lot of delicious eyecandy and as someone who finds it hard to infer "oh and then they must have had sex" stuff, it's all upfront and canon

*fans self*

Sorry, what was I saying? Yes. Good poly bisexual fun. For UK viewers its Thursday nights on SyFy at errrrm 9pm I think. And on the cover of the latest BCN *strokes the pretty picture*

Just don't think about how many negative promiscuous AIDS-spreading bisexual stereotypes you can read into the show, cos boy oh boy does a succubus have them all.

Lost Girl is in it's second season on Showcase Canada. After season 1, 13 episodes, SyFy got the rights to show it. It has already been okay'd for season 3.
