Have now posted in the events page (thanks !).

Will current events at some point show up on the home page with the revamping of the site (nice work, by the way - and thanks for the hard work in keeping the site going !) ?

My partner in BiFi Hotspot / Network will add the reciprocal link (I don't administer the site).

Current local events should be showing up now on the homepage. The way it works is events in the NYC area for example, show up only for users who have that same area selected as their location. So if you aren't seeing your event on the homepage, it may be that your area and the event area are different.
