Searching Personals - Problem

Not sure if others have reported this problem but, when trying to search personal ads, I once selected Washington state to search within. Now, I have been unable for months to "de-select" WA state and search on a wider/different basis. It will initially allow me to "deselect" but when the search results come back, it has "defaulted" back to WA and only brings back those results. Nothing I try seems to fix this.

That is by design CalyxSoSweet. It always defaults to your home area (the area you have selected in your profile), the idea being that 95% of the time people want to search their home area. I could always be talked into setting it up differently, but the way it is now is fairly simple and I think makes sense in most cases. We could maybe have the area default back to what you last searched, but it might be extra complication for only a little bit of benefit - like I said though I can be talked into almost anything if the reasoning is sound and enough people make the argument.
