As many of you may have heard, yes it's true Google is STILL blocking the word "Bisexual" from auto complete (aka "Instant Search") on the grounds it's a "dirty word". So what to do about it? Try this:
Read Bi Magazine's (https://www.facebook.com/BiMagazine) article (http://bimagazine.org/index.php/news/binet-usa-takes-on-google-over-their-bisexual-problem/) (complete with YouTube video showing the block in action) about the ruckus BiNet USA (https://www.facebook.com/groups/binetusa/) is raising about it
Sign this Petition (http://www.change.org/petitions/google-s-technical-staff-stop-blocking-the-word-bisexual-from-instant-search-results)
Tell all your friends about it and ask them to Sign (http://www.change.org/petitions/google-s-technical-staff-stop-blocking-the-word-bisexual-from-instant-search-results) it too
Thanks all

?
In Canada, google does not block a search using the word bisexual. When I hit your link for Bi Mag it takes me to a Facebook page though and not an article?
I have heard that Google does censor searches in favour of corporate or government approved positions on political matters. Google is not the best to search for information about political positions that the government does not favour in both foreign countries and your own country. Both Google and Facebook direct ads to you based on what searches that you do.
Since I've been using a PC rather than a Mac in the past week or so, I think that this linking by Google and Facebook is worse on a PC. It seems to be linking me from this site to Facebook if I searched this site via Google? I may be wrong but some info came up last night informing me what some of my Facebook"friends" had been viewing as far as sites are concerned. I had to unlink it so that I would not be told what sites they had been on. I wonder if they are able to see my google searches too?

go to google search and type in 'bisexual'
click the 'safe search' box on the results page and change your default from 'moderate' (or whatever setting you have there) to 'off'
google doesn't censor anything, you just need to read the instructions LOL. I got 62+ million responses.

Interesting that someone with webmaster in their name can't figure Google out.

If you type in lesbian it will give you a bunch of suggestions under it. If you type bisexual in, though, it will not. I think this is the point. It is treating bisexual like a "dirty" word so to speak.

I just typed in bisexual on Google search engine and got 118,000 hits immediately. The fact that it doesn't auto suggest doesn't mean it is being treated any different than lesbian. You can "buy" your way to the top of Google search keyword hit list.

I am not saying I agree with it, just that people earlier weren't getting the point that these people are trying to make and acting like he was stupid and didn't know how to use google.

Because typing out 8 letters without the assistance of AutoComplete is just far too much effort . . .
Seriously?
