The hurricane missed most of Florida, so far, but looks like it's heading for New Orleans...again!

You folks from Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and even Texas may need to get ready!

We do have to get ready. I am ready for evacuation or staying here. My hubby will be staying either way though because he has to be here for relief, aid, and security.

The RNC convention closed more roads than the storm. Politics as usual. We hope everyone in the path is prepared. It should become a hurricane later today when it hits warmer waters in the Gulf. The storm warnings for all of Florida except the panhandle were lifted at 11AM. We dodged the bullet again.
