I am not sure about paying $35 dollars for a group hug lol.... but the idea of a cuddle party is interesting......

I suppose its a good way of breaking down misconceptions surrounding hugging and when its acceptable and not acceptable for people to hug....and hugging a stranger in a safe setting is not something that causes me any concern..... hell I may even meet some people that become more than just a * hug buddy * lol....

my friends and I view hugging as natural, a shared experience and yet sometimes a kiss thrown in cos they feel good too... and there is no set rules about how to hug or what type of hugging is acceptable, cos to us, its simply a hug, a shared experience....... and in a way it must seem strange to some outsiders when some of us hug, as some of my friends look like they eat steel bars and shit bullets ( think biker dudes / dudettes and yes, some of them are bi / gay )

so putting the money aspect aside, would others host or participate in a cuddle party ? and how do people feel about hugging random strangers ?

We have hosted quite a few "Cuddle Parties," but Certainly can"t say they were "Non-Sexual."

Put several mattresses together and with minimal, or no, lighting, our naked guests are laid on their sides, one behind the other, snuggling (we start out MFMFMF) and they are covered with a blanket (Foot Fetishes to the foot of the beds). The objective is to enjoy the warmth and feel of those closest to you. Intimate touching must be proceeded by a request and a positive response.

After 10 minutes, tool over to your other side so you can now reach out to the one previously behind you. Ten more minutes and the bodies are randomly rearranged. Ten more minutes and another rollover, etc.

We never gotten to a fourth rearranging of bodies. Before that point, everyone is so hot the covers are kicked off and the pursuit of carnal pleasure is in full bloom. Some of the combinations that result from the cuddle session are truly amazing.

A "Non-Sexual Cuddle Party"? Just another gimmick for a "Relationship and Life Coach" to take your money and try to give validity to an otherwise useless occupation. (Sorry, if someone finds it difficult to interact with others, they don't need a coach, they need therapist. Or, better yet, they can just give themselves permission to have a good time.)

lol bityme, you were right, I did a lil research.... the original outfit behind it charge $595 for a weekend training thing for a person to become a certified hug party facilitator ........ I think I will stick to giving hugs for free cos I can.......

I found the cuddle party idea to be a good one.... but the idea of ripping people off, no thanks......

I'd be curious of course, to try one of those things, but I wouldn't care to pay for it. If I had to pay at all, then I'd expect some things - like creeps not being admitted, free beverage/snacks, quality mattresses, and of course complimentary condoms/lube. I know it's asking for a lot, but nothing is free in this world, but I want something for my money.

And if I'm going that far, then it definitely needs to be sexual in some way - so the non-sexual cuddle party is nothing of interest for me.
