Then just around the corner at 4086 18th St., there's The Mix. The Mix is generally popping on Saturdays from about 2pm on!

Polk Street. North of California, there are a couple of gay bars (The Cinch was my favorite), but a good area for women (especially when you cross Broadway). South of California on Polk & Larkin you can find a men, trannys, and of course the O'Farrell Theater...
