no, I am not joking..... its true http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/asia/7743263/Lesbian-bride-flooded-by-male-offers
the lady in question, recently married her female lover in a paris wedding ( good on them I say ) but her father, a chinese billionaire that has never married and has a history of womanising, has offered a $HK 500 mill dollar bounty to the man that is able to capture his daughters heart and wed her.......
it would be easy to rubbish the father, but the daughter sets a fantastic example of how a person can be understanding of a persons thoughts and feelings without doing the usual claims of * phobia and discrimination *, by saying that her father is trying to do what he thinks is right because he cares about his daughter and wants the best for her..... she displays much of the acceptance and tolerance of the viewpoints of another person that the LGBT talk about...
the last couple of statements in the article, are definitely something I agree with
"Starting a conversation with humour always makes people less aggressive," said James Gannaban, the organiser of an annual Gay Hong Kong pageant, in a local gay bar.
"If people are less militant about issues, then there is greater opportunity for conversation, if we start off with a smile."
