Well I guess its a case here of "To each their own"--but as a man who is age 50+--I think that someone of that age is already "too old" to be with college age kids on so many levels and for so many reasons--the chief among them is that at that age--your own kids, if you have them, are probably of college age.

I always have to wonder "what the fuck is up" with dudes my relative age range and older who only want to be with those who are in the college age range and will dump them when they get to be around 30 or so.

To me--there is something slightly fucked up with that!!! To also add the element of drugs into the mix---legal or not---that only adds to it being kinda messed up, in my book.

My personal operational policy is--stick to those in your same relative age range---with a bottom floor of someone to be with---being at least 35 and no younger.

I say that one does have to "grow the fuck up" sometime and one way to do that is to stick with those who are relatively in your same generation.

Ah...the age thing. Anna Nicole Smith and her sugar daddy Howard Marshall sure blew the curve on that one! Somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind I recall that there is "the formula" for determining minimum dating age. Take your age, divide by two, then add eight. It seems pretty practical. haha my bf is 30 and im 47. the one time he was with someone other than me during our relationship, i was pretty sad thinking he must have been with a younger girl.... i shortly found out she was my age too. he doesnt prefer younger girls he thinks they are airheads. hehe.

that being said i dont really like guys my age right now.. for the most part they think too 'old' for me. i dont find them flexible and open minded very often. and i prefer long term relationsips with anyone im with.

for some reason when i was 18 my bf of 5 yrs was 30.. when i was 27 the father of my child was 30. when i was 32 my bf of 8 yrs was in his early 30's. now my bf of 3 years is 30..... all of them are my tightest friends today. i just cant shake 30 yr olds it seems.
