Why are there so many threads about LOL "men" wearing women's panties, cross dressing, and being transvestites on this site? Most bisexual and gay men are not into wearing women's panties, women's clothing, and find "men" wearing women's underwear, drag queens/CD/TV types to be a major turn off.

So you speak for most bisexual and gay men.... I guess the 2 or 3 that are into cross dressing etc. are on this board talking about it. I like to see a good looking man dressed in garters and a torpedo thong...

Why? My guess is that many guys who are into panties, cross-dressing, etc. are also exhibitionists. Really whats the point of putting on a sexy pair of panties if there is no one watching. I had a profile pic, now gone and needing to be replaced, of me in my favorite hot pink panties. I loved the idea of men and women looking at me. Getting a message about how much someone liked the pic was an enormous turn on.

some people think that cross dressing/ transsexuals is the training wheels approach to being comfortable with another penis. Transition might be mf mts mtv then mm of course with bisexuality it may be mfm .

I wonder if you are really asking yourself a question about whether CD is really part of identifying as bisexual? If so many guys here are interested and this is a bisexual site, is CD an essential part of being bisexual?
I don't know why there are threads about CD on this bisexual site any more than why there are so many threads about being an anal bottom, dildos, hetero women complaining about their partners' being bisexual, cheating with a man, guys wanting to be pegged by a woman, etc. As others have noted in the past, the thread topics ebb and flow just like bisexuality. I wonder why so few young people post about their fears about coming out etc on this site. It just is the way things are.
Not all men who want to cross dress are bisexual let alone gay. CD is not an essential part of being bisexual. Some CD are hetero and only want to be with a woman but still want to dress in women's clothes(I suspect most CD are not really hetero though). Some are transitioning to a female gender but not all are transitioning or even bisexual.
Then there is the question, why is it that women cross dress and have no gender barrier to it all the time but heaven forbid a man wearing female feminine clothing in public. Even now there seems to be a fashion trend for brightly coloured pants for younger guys but most will not wear light bright green, red, purple pants. Why is that ok for women but not men? (homophobia?)
btw I don't see many threads on this site about guys wearing panties, CD etc. on the most recently posted threads but I think that I get what you may be inferring. I have no interest in being sexually with a CD or being with a guy who wears women's panties. It turns me right off if a guy wants to cross dress even in feminine panties. I prefer to be with a guy who is masculine in behaviour and clothing. I prefer a woman who is feminine. Love early spring now when coats are coming off and women are wearing dresses and skirts with high heels. (oh look at darkeyes running to get her high heels and skirt changed into something more butch and granny panties...lol)

@Tenni-No I was simply asking why on this website are there a lot of threads about cross dressing, wearing women's panties, etc. I am on other LGBT sites and LGBT friendly sites and there are not nearly as many threads about cross dressing, women's panties, etc. just do a search on here for 'panties' or other terms and you'll find them. @tramp-It's true though, most bi and gay men are not into putting on women's clothing, are not effeminate, and view cross dressers, drag queens, etc. as bad stereotypes and major turn offs sexually.

This..
...ther r fewer threads on the subject he raises than ther r nicks he/she/it uses methinks....;) The question he asks of course betrays his prejudice.. it may not be every bi guy that likes 2 wear feminine kit.. but ther r a fair ole number by all accounts.. and so it is a quite acceptable subject for discussion...

Ah, that may be the point dark eyes ;) If you judge (prejudge all bisexual men?) by the numbers on this site who say that they like to cross dress, you may be wrong. The number of biguys that hit on me who have an interest in cross dressing is not as dominant as the numbers who have no interest in wearing women's panties. (desire to bottom is more common) Cross Dressing and bisexuality is not necessarily directly linked. Prejudging bisexual men by those who post here is not necessarily a clear indication of most bisexual men. Some may not post because they don't want to put down those who are interested in cross dressing. (live and let live philosophy)
When I read another bisexual site, I do not read threads about cross dressing/ wanting to cross dress in the numbers on this site. (although I don't think that it dominants the threads here either)

I haven't sed owt different, tenni... a fair ole number in 1 million may be a haff mill... but even if only 3, 4 or 5% have the interest it remains a fair ole number.. even if we take wot some surveys say is the figure for non str8 peeps in this world as 2% (as some do including the odd national census), haff that for gender and then divide by the 3, 4 or 5% who r CD, TV or wear gals knicks, I work that out at between 180 and 300000 in the UK alone..sounds a fair ole number 2 me, babes... then multiply by 100 or so world wide.... 18-30 mill.. or numerically the equivalent of the population of Canada if we take the higher figure. I'm not judging or prejudging, I just made what seems to me to be a self evident point...
Wow.. not bad for sum1 who is rubbish at maths...:impleased

Because people are curious, being bisexual is sort of about exploration of sexuality and identity - folks wonder if anyone else is into the same sorts of activities or have the same ideas about those activities.
Where do I fit in? Is a common question people ask and I think it's the only benefit to having a forum full of "Do you spit or swallow?" is that it is okay to ask questions.

I think it's coz they are exhibitionists as already said. On a hookup site I frequent, there are loads putting up their pics for all to see, and you'd be forgiven for thinking there must be a CD on every street in the UK.
You'd also be forgiven for thinking that 60% of bi&gay men are invisible or extremely shy coz there are no pics of them to be seen.
But IMO like it or loath it, it takes guts for a MAN to put on a dress. I'm glad I'm not into it, coz I doubt I'd be up to it.
