Hi,
I was nearly constantly bullied as a child for being girlish at school and was also often mistaken for a girl when I was a small boy. Today, people also view me as somewhat feminine it seems. Especially women think that I am feminine and gay and often talk to me as I was one of them. I find this a bit frustrating as I would rather have members of the opposite sex regard me as handsome and attractive as a partner. I sometimes wonder if I should choose to be gay instead of bi or straight - by the way I have chosen to live alone by myself these days. So I hereby try to explain that a man can look good, be sensitive, have soft features, be kind to others, have feminine values and yet be attracted to women as well.

Have you thought about growing facial hair? Maybe some women are not attracted to men who's features are more feminine and (God forbid) prettier than them?

honestly, i was just talking to my bf about this today... ALL my boyfriends have been slender and somewaht androgynous, very 'feminine' in some of their thoughts and outlook, and have round soft faces and long hair..... i prefer those kinds of guys by a mile, i think they are better partners, better friends, and usually MUCH better lovers (in my personal experience) i think they are tuned into what women want and they understand women much better than some super macho guys in -my- experience. i know other people may totally feel differently but everytime i see a guy who feels he wont be attractive cuase he is more androgynous or whatever i always think 'man i go out of my way to date guys like that i think they are better at EVERYTHING'
my bf wears my panties n looks great in them he picks flowers n talks about his feelings and all that stuff but he can still f@ck 5 times in a night without a break... several times a week...... hes the ballsiest guy i know and he still loves to talk about our relationship and his feelings and he cries when hes sad and i totally love all that stuff. he also got teased as a kid a -lot- but he didnt let it stop him ultimately. i prefer those kind of guys by a million light years i would go wayy out of way to show preference to dating guys like that any day of the week. you just have to not be around girls that appreciate that stuff.

Thank you! Yes, I have had a very short beard most of the time for about a year or so. It may have helped a bit when it comes to looks.

Good to hear! It is nice to know that a woman like you can appreciate and love this guy. Your story brightens up my day in a way.

I read somewhere recently that most women seem to prefer men with feminine traits. Can't recall where I read it.
I suppose it would be counterproductive for me to say I much prefer men with feminine traits?

Well, women may be different too. It would have been interesting to find the source for such a statement.
I think the way men view other men (regardless of sexual orientation) is kind of different from women’s way of seeing and falling for men.

A gay friend had an androgynous bisexual male lover, who i was very attracted to. He was the most polite and sensitive male I've known. He was too pretty to be a male, but too handsome to be a woman! He had soft features and feminine mannerisms; he could have easily been either gender. I often felt spikes of electricity run through me with just a look!
They were in a very secure, monogamous, relationship and obviously in love. If they weren't, I would have given anything to spend time with him!
