So I spent most of last year recovering from the year before's hospital stay. Left with some lovely swelling that has now been classed as lymphodema. I've been told once it's under control, I'll wear compression garments the rest of my life to prevent the swelling.

So I get to go to PT every Tuesday and Thursday in January so far to get my legs manually drained and then wrapped in compression bandages.

I'm still not smoking but allergies are still making it hard to breathe from time to time. I find out results of my last PFT when I see the pulmonologist in January.

Doc put me on Cymbalta for my fibromyalgia and finally... I had some relief from the chronic pain I've been in for almost 2 years.

Working on getting healthier, eating better and taking more time for me as opposed to doing for everyone else.

So does anyone else have any new things to share for the new year?

Been there, done that. Hate fighting with the stockings and Farrow wraps, but they are essential, and Do make the legs feel vastly better.

Me. I'm climbing steadely upwards after four surgeries back to back. Facing one more (Hopefully..:} and have handle three major holidays without my son. Its getting easier, even tho next month will make a year.
It gets better, we just have to be determined enough to fight for what we want, and need. Good thing I'm a scrapper by nature. lol
The best of luck to you my DD, and here's hoping that you and Duck will get together in the New Year!
Muahs.

Am hoping wife gets the job she's to interview for at the start of
January. She quit working at the pizza place. The new manager had given
her and other workers there more than plenty enough grief.

On the up side, I spent 2013 unemployed. Might sound bad but the wife makes excellent money and encouraged me to screw off for the year. It did give me time to play the market some and I ended up having my best year financially ever, with no job! yee ha!

On the down side, I had a bridge across my front teeth break and the impact broke both teeth the bridge was attached to. So I have had a plastic denture for front teeth for the past 6 months and will for the next year as the fix for this problem is extensive. So 2014 will be filled with soft tacos, soup and oatmeal.
