I think they're really hot on anyone who has the body to pull it off... I'm planning on getting one soon.

To me piercings is a definite turn off, I met 1 guy one time, he went to show me his cock, he had a piercing in it, told him zip up his fly, I am not interested.

Not my thing, particularly belly or dick. I agree that you need a nice, flat stomach to pull it off.

Not a fan of piercings though at one time had both ears pierced. Silly me got drunk and lost a hand of poker.
The wager was ear piercing. As I recall two young ladies did these. They used ice cubes, hot needles. One
grew fully shut back over after a year of non-use. The other still can almost half open, the ear piercings that
is. I never really cared to have them pierced. Lost the bet so had to honor it.

Even if not a real fan, if someone likes being pierced I am not one to fuss over it. More about the person
than the glitter really. Unless, they go way overboard with glitter. But then they probably aren't the sort
of people I would be around much then. I have one piece of jewelry, a wedding band. It pains me that I
have not worn it in a few years due to arthritis, and fingers growing since wedding. If I could wear that,
it would probably be all the jewelry I wore.

No. I can't handle body piercings, male or female. Total turn off. Especially tongue or dick piercings are even worse than total turn off. Just thinking about it makes me SO happy that I do not have any.

I've read that tongue rings are really good for giving head. That's making me want to get one.

1. Read more about that.
2. Give it a fair bit of consideration.
3. Make your choice, accept it as your choice.

Looks like a start of a plan up there. :) And that seems all there is to
"advice", if that was indeed what you were looking to get. Not sure it
is. Seems you have already decided in a way. Didn't realize folks here
were to dole out permission, nor did I realize we needed to ask folks
here for permission. :)

Sorry if I seem rambling a bit. Think my brain asploded this morning.
Read some math stuff, heavy philosophical math stuff. *looks for
something to knock his noggin into* Me & "higher" learning may have to
disagree.

Meh, it's just one of the piercings I think would be cool and haven't given too much thought into. I'm more interested in the belly ring

Slight anecdote then. I recall going for some ink. Two young ladies, teens, were in the
same parlor. The one had a bit of pouch in her belly. She was not by any means overweight,
but had a touch of meat on her bones. She got a belly ring. There was no problem for her.

Her girlfriend then insisted she have one too. Four different tattooists, two piercers were
explaining she lacked enough flesh in her belly to do it. Oh no, that would not do. She _had_
to get her belly pierced. The gal that did the piercings told her that if she insisted there would be
pain. The tattooist doing my ink told her if she screamed, they would take it back out and redo it.

Still this young lady was adamant. Finally, the gal with the piercing gun tells her to step over. There
was a pause as she got swabbed clean. Then, I was found unsure that the young girl was a lady. She
screamed a blood curdling scream which sounded of bats escaping Hell, intermixed with cursing the
likes what cause sailors to blush. My tattooist hollered over "Guess we get a redo!" This girl went into
a raging and sobbing fit, begging for no redo, threaten bodily harm if anyone touched her.

Not trying to discourage. If you do want to, you will regardless. *chuckles* Just be sure you got a
little flab. As the shop staff were trying to explain, the post which is "shot" through has to have the
flab as a buffer. Otherwise the post can hit muscle, and or nerve clusters in that area. And yes, it hurts
like a bitch on camel back.

Any reputable piercer will NOT use a "gun", they can not be sterilized! A surgical clamp and a hollow needle is the only way to go. That said, jury is out on navel piercings on guys, too many variables : jewlery, body type, etc.

Personally, piercings or tattoos are not things I go for, but I wouldn't let this get in the way of seeing through to the person underneath.

I did sort of figure that you would say something of this sort. This is of course--your opinion on the matter and as such--it is simply your view about this. There are plenty of guys out there who do like guys who are of heavier build--even thin guys who like "chubs or bears," and if they also like belly rings---the heavier--not perfect bodied guy by your figuring, should be allowed to get one too if he likes it or his partner or partners do.

I would not get one----but as "chubby guy"--if I had someone who I was with suggested I get one--if that makes he or she happy--I might at least consider it. We chubby--less than perfect bodied people deserve love, sex and possibly even belly rings too if we or a partner wants those things!! :impleased

I can tell you--that if I had a partner/buddy with benefits that I was in at least serious "like or more" with and he had one--even if he is on the chubby side--I'd probably think that his belly ring was "sexy" too, along with the rest of him.

My apologies, I thought my post before that made it clear that that was my personal opinion.

Sorry for bringing up an old post, but I just recently found this site upon searching for opinions on this topic. I always thought belly rings were for women and women ONLY...that was up until I became single recently (again) and started thinking about getting one myself. I have no idea where the thought came from, it just hit me one day lol So I started lookin up what people thought about the idea. To be clear, I am mostly straight and have only dated women all my life and have only had a few nights with another guy in between g/f's. I do have a slim build and am always tan and already have other piercings so I figured, what the hell, why not.

I don't mind the ears but not too keen on piercings in other places. For one thing, always afraid I'll pull on them too hard or something.. I can admire artwork that is done right (I've seen some tattoos that truly are beautiful) but it's just my personal preference - I'd rather see art on a wall or stand..

Thanx :) I've "let myself go" a couple times in the past. Never again! I don't judge people with a few extra pounds (prefer it on my sexual partners actually!), I just want to keep my girlish figure :) I like looking good in my g-strings and micro swimwear (when I have to wear something swimming!), and booty shorts, tights, and mini skirts! Again, I do have a huge tattoo fetish, am an exhibitionist, and like some types of piercings, so long as the gauge size isn't too extreme (and for those that enjoy the extreme piercings, more power to you! I have very few limits, but that is one of them!).

Very cool :) Looking forward to the pics from the two of you :) And when they say 6-9 months to heal, they aren't kidding! Got mine in Sept, I'm a fast healer, but it does still regress a little at times. Nothing major, just minor irritation that will be going away soon :)

Nice! Sounds sexy! Yea, I'm not a big fan of huge piercings either. Those big ones for the ears are gross, but to each his own. More power to them for taking it to the extreme!

The healing part is what I'm weary of. I have my nipples pierced. Those hurt like hell to get done and I'm still having problems with one of them a year and 7 months later! They said 9 months! WTF?! But I refuse to take them out cuz I know as soon as I do, I'll see other guys with them at the beach and will want mine back but I'm not going thru that pain again. I'm telling you those hurt like HELL! And I'm no wimp when it comes to pain. So I'm keeping them in. So you see my dilemma with the belly ring thing, I just don't want another one of those problems.

I know another bi guy that had the same problem with his nipples. He started with horizontal piercings, and he said they never did fully heal. Oddly enough, he took them out, then re-pierced vertical, and now no more discomfort! Everyone's nerves run differently. Some lose sensitivity after getting nipples pierced, some gain, some don't change at all. Same goes for healing. Not everyone's body is built for a navel piercing either. For me, its working out great! Be even better when 100% healed up! And the pleasure to my cock with it in is awesome! So erotic!
