*coughs**blushes*

I don't do the video thang, but the erotic exchange of ideas and dialogue... :tong:.. with an intelligent, articulate woman is about the next best thing to having a girl in your bed, imnoho.

I currently have a 'net thang' going on with an incredible woman and she's driving me crazy with Lust. It's a good, fun addition to my life right now, as we both have obligations, stress, and busy lives to deal with on an everyday basis.
I figure we'll meet eventually, but right now, I'm having a blast!

I was into it for awhile (3 or 4 months once) but it gets old really quick.

As Paul Simon said "Never matched my sweet little imagination".

I don't like cybersex... to me its pointless and means nothing UNLESS you're doing it with the person you love. (etc, the person is away on a trip and you guys commuicate online) I also think it just depends who the person is and how well you know them.

BUT Since Im a very romantic person, Im often asked for ideas and advice lol sometimes without knowing it I can get a bit carried away and then get a "wow... I wish you were my gf!!" comment lol

I think cybersex really works if you know the person :) and how well.
Cybersex with strangers...... no way lol

I think it all depends on who your having cyber sex with and how much you care about the person, but if your just doing it to get yourself and the other person off then whats the fun in that. I still say the real thing is better though and always will be

Cyber with just anyone is not that great and gets old fast unless that's all you're in it for....quick self gratification. Then, to me, the keyboard just gets in the way. But cyber with the right person can be amazing. Being with someone you care for and you know each others turn ons and which buttons to push can almost be as good as the real thing. You can almost feel each others touch as your doing it. It's all in the details and imagination though. :tong:

I think cybersex can be a huge ball of fun . . . provided you find the right person for the job! You find about three billion people who write so that you can't get off for deciphering their text, have nonexistent imaginations, and are presumptuously greedy (making you start and giving one word answers for your long, detailed replies, etc.). Or they whine and complain consistently for pictures, webcams, etc., etc..

But occasionally, after you've sifted through those three million bores, you can find a person who is intelligent, imaginative, caring with the keyboard just like you'd hope they'd be caring in bed, and is a real person whose life exists outside jacking on the computer. Those are the keepers.

I don't do it as much as I used to because, as someone else pointed out, few people can match your own imagination (and, let's face it, it gets darned hard to type with one hand!). Most people just don't seem to match me- I want to talk about everything and be everyone (isn't it a perogative of anonymous internet sex to be able to spontaneously change your gender? I never understood the importance of 'confirming' the person's sex if they're helping you pretend whatever you want them to be!). In the end, it ain't much, but it can be enjoyable.

Like I say cybersex is like having chicken every night for dinner...you soon get sick of it. I would rather have a stimulating conversation with somebody. But if cybersex floats your boat go for it. :)

Its cool sometimes occasionally but it makes me feel ashamed of myself. I can barely look my friends in the eye on monday moring. It is nothing like the real thing and that is probably where the shame comes from. why do it? Although to be honest I enjoyed doing it and it was a sexy laugh riot

I actually have never tried cyber sex...I can't imagine that it would be very exciting without a visual...but thinking about trying it with a woman is turning me on already!!

Like anything, cyber can be fun but gets old quick. Just like in "real life", your partner can make or break the experience. Nothing wrong with a quick and dirty session every now and then for specific gratification, but going rounds every night? I don't think so. I have managed to find a small group of folks that I have excellent cyber and phone sex with. Its nice to have folks that know how to get you off, and vice versa.

So, my list of preferences would go something like this
Sex in the real, face to face
Phone sex
Cyber and Porn in rotation (although, surfing for porn with a cyber partner can be fun too. lol)
webcam

I will say though, that I've heard from a lot of folks that cyber make it easier to explore things that you might be too shy to do in person. I also believe some fantasies are meant to stay as fantasy, and cyber can be a great place to let them come to life a little.
