The Klein Grid Test on OKCupid (http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=7742036330261174146)
OKCupid generates JavaScript to post the test on boards and such so that you don't need to join OKCupid to take the test. The code was too long to post here though.
Feedback on how I can edit or improve the test would be greatly appreciated. If the link above does not work, copy and paste the address:

well I came out as 2 where I predicted 3, but maybe it was my answers. As I lack regular bisex experiences that seemed to define me. Still confused... but happy to be there.

Hmmm People are scoring 0, which I didn't think was possible, and the highest score so far is only a 5.
I made the world too straight! :yikes2:
Everyone shift to the queer side a bit, please while I try and fix it.

I liked your test and I got a 6 on it.
I took the Klein grid test (the one that shows up on people's blogs) and I got a 3.62 on it.

I'm unsure how I'm supposed to do this test accuratly cas I haven't been in a relationship in the past 12 months and all the first page is about that.

Only One (doubled) question actually asks about your physical contacts, and skipping a question that doesn't apply should still score accurately. The rest of those two pages are all questions concerning what you like and whom you have been around for the past 12 months. If you haven't had any fantasies and lived as a hermit over the past year, go ahead and skip those questions too. ;)

A 4 on the Klein Grid is similar to a 4 on the Kinsey Scale, but not quite. The Kinsey Scale is a statement of your sexual orientation. The Klein grid is a statement of your interaction between the sexes overall in your life. Technically a person who identifies as straight or gay might score a 4 as likely as a person who identifies as bisexual.
As stated in the text at the end of your test, the point is to recognize the similarities you have with people of different sexual orientations, rather than your differences.

seems like it could be an inaccurate test if you haven't had many sexual encounters in ur life or recently or if you are in a situation where u just happen to be surrounded by members of one sex or u kno all of the above

Hence the term "sexual fluidity". Your score changes at different times of your life. Your sexuality is never set in stone, no matter how many labels society creates for it. The point of the Klein Grid is to demonstrate this.

I scored a 4, though I consider myself a 3. I think the reason I scored a little higher is because I'm socially more comfortable around women. All the male friends I have are really friends of friends.

Interesting. I too scored a 4 but consider myself more of a 3. I took the one that Diamond Dog refers too and scored a 3.05. Accurate for me I think. Right down the middle.

Hmmm...I scored a 6....
I know I have moved more towards the exclusive F/F but didn't think it went that far.
Based on experiences of the last 12 months and where the future may go, then the 6 is right, there's only been one and she knows who she is!!

Hmmm......I scored a five
Which is probably about right when I consider where I am at at the moment and just like Nara.....if I look at the direction I hope the future holds......Still a five came as a bit of a suprise.....thought I would be about a four
Cool Test

I hit a 4, but would have thought a 3. It's all good though, cuz I vary back and forth like that.
Neat quiz!

I scored a 4. Usually I rate a 3 on the Klein. But then I've been focusing a bit more on women lately so that probably accounts for the shift.

Interesting... I scored a 3, but have considered myself a 2. I can see how the score would change depending upon your 'attitude' when you take the test. This week I met a male colleague who is really my type, but that's a no-no. And I hang out a lot with guys because of the types of hobbies I have, though I prefer hanging out with women. :male: Right now I just try to stay out of trouble! :oh:

I like that one better than mine so far. I need to figure out how to get the scoring to go between the numbers.

just got back from the site; i scored a 5, which i think by the thread here i must of taken the test before you tweaked the scoring. as of now, i suspect that i would be a 3, and not the 5. is that true?
also, took a few others; i scored 97% 'the Cardinal' on the "who would you be in the 1400's?"; on the "how annoying are you", i scored 6, or not annoying at all! these tests make you wonder!!!.
loved doing them; i'll have to come up with some of my own, when i can get the damn time!

6- Exclusively homosexualI'm confused. When I first heard of the Kinsey scale I heard this ranking system, but for profiles on this site it's ranked 1-7. Is 0-6 the correct scale or no?

I scored 5, I don't know what this means exactly because it says on the website that it is not a rating on the Kinsey scale. Nevertheless, it's very interesting

So I scored a 3....I found their description somewhat vague....anyone able to clarify these numbers a little better. On the Kinsey scale I would be bisexual. Well DUH!!!

I wrote the descriptions on the test, so I need to change the descriptions if they are too vague for ya. Basically it is not a measure of your sexuality, but a tool to point out that you have similarities with people who have a different sexual identity than you do.
For instance, some people do not identify as being bi if they do not have an emotional attachment to the same sex even though they are physically having relationships with them. Other people do identify as bi when they have a strong emotional attachment, but have never had a physical relationship with the same sex.
Notice that the final score for a 3 was not "Bisexual" but "Other Sex Somewhat" It has no bearing on your sexuality. Both a straight person and a gay person could have the same score as you. All these articles with biphobia are in need of this realization. A belligerent author might have too strict of a definition for what it means to be gay. All of the questions you answered are different ways different people define their sexuality.
I thought this was summed up in the big long explanation at the end. By vague do you mean that what I have there is too much of a wall of text to read?
