- It was people on here that helped me realize I was not bisexual but a lesbian.

- It was people on here that helped me realize I live in a stupid town that was just making me unhappy.

It's sad that you seem to be having a difficult time right now Pecker. I must disagree as well though. A little over two years ago when I was freaking out about (back then) the possibility of being bisexual, I found a wonderful accepting community full of caring people who helped me not only figure out that I am Bi but also accept and come to cherish this part of myself.

If it wasn't for this place I would be back in the closet and back in denial if not worse. Here I am accepted, cared about and most importantly SAFE. I've asked a myriad of what I see as moronic questions and they have all been answered with kindness and compassion and occasionally a gentle kick when needed.

I have said it before and I will continue to say it. This is my home. These people are my other family and there is not a day that goes by that I am not infintely grateful for this place.

I post in a lot of threads....most of my posts have nothing to do with you...I was replying to the idea that helping people on here was a joke....just like everyone else is replying to it....

Hey PECKER ................Out of your 30 (so far) posts, I have only replied to you directly in 2 threads including this one. So to answer your question........YES, most of what you "put on here" I don't have something to say about.

This site has helped me in the way of feeling far more confortable with myself, helped me see Im not alone in this world and at times helped me get through my day by making me smile or laugh. Ive learned so much in the short time Ive been here.

It seems you might just need a hug today so here ya go *HUG*

How do you want help?

If you want only sex try going to gay.com, other sites like Craigslist, or go into a gay bar/club. Have you tried contacting people on this site from your area?

There's no rule here that says that you can't put pics of yourself naked in your profile or put porn in your profile.

If you want to write about pretty much any sexual topic you want to there's no rule that says that you can't.

Breath Flex...breath!!!! The fact you went to check and reply again is not good sweetie. You shouldn't let people get to you like this. It's what they like. You have much better things in your life to deal with then someone who is looking for negative attention to feel better about themselves. :grouphug:

I don't claim to have helped anyone on here, I can't live anyone elses life for them, but I have never refused to listen to someone and share my thoughts with them. I may make off the wall jokes now and then too, maybe I put a smile on face or two, personally I don't see that as a bad thing.

There are several requirements for being helped and one is that you WANT to be helped...
If you are implying that no one has helped you, maybe this is the reason.....

Personally, I think you are way off base here since I have been helped by many people and I have helped some too (I hope) so this site seems to be about helping each other...

It may be true that some people may not give the best advice for your situation but they are simply trying to give you the best advice that they can give from their experiences and from their viewpoint. . with those caveats, the advice if offered for what it is worth.....

:bigrin: firstly they should seriously make midol for men , no offense just a joke people!!!!!!!!! :tong: I originally came to the site looking for a soulmate and had the unexpedited pleasure of making friends as well. Something I don't really have off this site. I guess I leave it up to the too guarded problem. So I'd have to say that this has helped me open up to people .Therefore this site does help some of us who trely want the help. It has also taught me there are people whom you can't trust. Its all about getting to know people and finding everyones limits. Making friends is wonderful thing to do. So why not give it a try, you might find you like it.Enjoy!!!!!!!!
