View Full Version : Is my profile lame?

Geez, maybe I sound like a snot.
Really difficult to get much response and the responses I get just don't seem to match (mainly married guys). I'm just not comfortable playing with married guys whose wives are in the dark. One line responses don't help and one-line profiles don't help. I'm not a wham-bam kind of guy, either.
If I'm too picky, I just can't help it; I've had a couple very nice bi relationships. But I'd rather not wait another five years,

Funny, I was just looking at your profile. I'm in your neighborhood, but I'm built for comfort, not for speed, and not sure if that might be too fat for your liking, so I didn't respond.

Be honest and write what you're looking for in your profile, and what you don't want.
I'm personally not interested in having an "essentially sexual relationship that works for us 'when the mood strikes' " type of situation with a guy but I'd want this with a woman.
Also try putting pics of yourself in your profile like of your face and not just your genitals or faceless parts of your body.
Try other sites too.
Maybe this site just sucks for meeting people and hooking up (if that's what you're into)?
In my area the ads are mostly men married to women who cheat on them, guys who are into barebacking, flakes/liars, and I met one person who is into PNP (party and play) or using coke/meth and then having sex without barriers with men and women. No thanks!
I REALLY don't like meeting people online to date, and while I've done it I'm much more successful in other ways that involve face to face conversations.
You're near/in Cincinnati so there are gay bars/clubs you can go to.
My friend goes there a lot to visit his boyfriend so if you'd like I can give you the names of bars that they like or that are fun to go to.

There's nothing wrong with your profile - what you are looking for seems clear enough to me.
But its made me look again and mine and realise I shouldn't edit mine late on a sunday night with a hangover!

its ok. its honest. i would add a pic. whatever your comfortable with posting. b/c if you really want to meet in person, you need to be forward about it. or are you hiding from someone? I find that its easy to hide things online, b/c we only reveal what we want people to see, and we cover up the dirt. no'fense
good trick to get people to look at your profile, though

I must say I like your sense of humour. I also like your profile. If it is true to you, just go with it I say. If you're ever in chat, look me up; I have a wonderful story about a Cinci str8 man: you'll love it !
