My main group of friends is mostly guys and quite often they play what they refer to as "gay chicken". The point of the "game" is to freak the other guy out first.
Well, I went bowling with them tonight and in the middle of the game one of the guys, James, was sitting on a counter with his feet on a chair. I mentioned I needed a place to sit and he opened his legs and told me to sit on the chair. I went ahead and played along with it knowing what was going to happen, but instead of just sitting down I started to rest my head on his crotch. After a few seconds he freaked out, got up and said to another friend Jonathan, "Okay, Chris just out gayed me." Jonathan's response was, "Well, what do you expect, he's bisexual". To which everyone said something to the effect of "yeah".
After a few questions I found out that Jonathan had overheard me telling someone else. Kerry, well, I'd actually told him myself but there was a lot of noise at the time and he didn't react or respond at all so I couldn't be sure if he'd heard me. And after that the information had just started to spread.
So here I was worried about how they would react to knowing I was bisexual, but they all already knew and were okay with it. It's still striking me as weird that, even though I live with all of these guys, they could be letting each other know without me finding out about it. But it's nice to know that I have friends who know and are either supporting or just don't really care.
