View Full Version : A bigotry email
Delilah

Oh yes, I receive another hellish email that was slam full of bigotry.
I am a confused boy in a dress, a she-male, and the likes of me isn't welcome here. This place belongs to bisexuals only. So it was stated.
For the record folks, I am not bisexual. I am a bisexual supporter. Yes I am a transsexual but that has nothing to do with sexual orientation. I consider myself a female who prefer to live in a heterosexual relationship as a female with a male. Makes sense?
If anyone who is that narrow minded and take the time to send a bigotry email, perhaps you should take the time to google and learn what is a transsexual. Did we chose to be this way? Will you hear us out and get the facts that we didn't chose to be this way? Did you chose to be bisexual? I heard the facts about bisexuality, I know a lot of bisexuals in real life and online friends. I know it's not a lie or an excuse.
I am a bi-supporter and I'm sure most of you know what that means. I have relatives who is bisexual, majority of my friends are bisexuals. Most bisexuals I have known are open minded. When I hear the word bisexual, first thing that comes to my mind IS open minded people. Because that seem to be the only people I have known. I guess after reading the email I got from this bisexual website, I'm thinking that not all bi-people are open minded.
Also, for the record, I may not be bisexual but I am a supporter. I believe bisexuality exist. It's not a disease. It's not a curse. It's not really a lifestyle. It's you being who you are and you should be accepted as who you are. Not look down upon. I'm seeing a lot of oppressed people become the oppressor.
I'm not talking about the entire group of people mind you. And I can't state what percentage but there is a lot of gay people who are the first one to scream equality and justice but yet they (not all - once again) throw stones at bisexuals and transgenders. Some say bisexuality is a lie or it's an excuse. How often have you, the bisexuals hear that? They also state that transsexuals are only bunch of confused homos who failed through life being of that gender they were born. How many of you, the transgender people hear that?
Well, now I'm seeing some bisexuals who have been oppressed become the oppressors themselves (once again - not all).
Email (if the person who wants to step forward for sending this you may to defend yourself otherwise this is between you and me):
"You should spend more time at a shrink and decide what the hell you are. I'm sure there is a lot of shemale sites for you to join. This is for bisexuals only."
I wonder if someone ever approached to him and scream "bisexual? you mean you are really a closeted fag who can't make it in the straight world..."
Yeah, I just repeated back what a lot of gay and even some straight people would say.
By the way, gays and bisexuals are not the only who has a group amongst themselves who becomes the oppressor. Even Transgendered community has a group that becomes an oppressor!
I have been in lots of tg chatrooms and they even say the very samething about gays and bisexuals. You have no idea how many times I get flamed at for speaking out in their forums on behalf of the gays and bisexual community. Some even become divided with labels.
TG vs TS... TS vs CD... CD vs TV. Oh yeah I may open up a can of worm here too. We all those Transgender people the 3T's. Trannier Than Thou.
I have been banned in a transgendered chat room because when I stated that I am a NON OP TS-Woman (which is really the object of being labelled she-males), I was assumed to be an escort. This tg-chat room has a rule which they assume that I had violated.
The rules is:
NO CD and NO TV
NO Shemales
NO Escorts
NO Models
NO Porn Stars
This chat room is design for Pre ops and Post ops TG-women.
Guess where they catagorize me once I stated I'm a NON OP TS-woman?
SHE-MALE and ESCORT!!
This post isn't about me receiving a bigot email. I stand my grounds and I am still standing. I will be where ever I want to be. Accepted or not. I am me.. take me as I am or leave me alone. Dish me your best. This person or anyone else can not run me out. I have friends here and I am a bisexual supporter. I am a gay and lesbian supporter. I am a swinger supporter. I support every diverse group of people (unless you are a pedophile... that's a whole different subject). I am open minded and I accept you as you are.

It's very disappointing that things like that happen.
You're one of the best members here. It doesn't need to be written that you're a much better person than whoever it was that wrote those things and tried to make you feel unwelcome, on this site and those chatrooms. :(
I'm otherwise speechless about this. :(

I am gonna play the devils advocate on this.....
people are gonna sit in judgement of the sender of email......but they are gonna fail to stop and realise that the sender of the mail has the same attitude and opinion of a lot of the LGBT activists and LGBT rights people
if we want to be accepted as people.... we are gonna have to stop pushing away people.........
delilah.... you are a non bisexual person that supports the bisexual community..... and sadly you are showing us what we are doing as a LGBT community, by revealing your opinion and your reaction to the email
we as the LGBT community, want our rights as people..... but we want our rights at the exclusive of others......
as I has stated before, in nz LGBT marriage is now legal..... but its not called marriage, its called civil union.....
there is no marriage for all.... there is marriage for the non lgbt and civil union for the lgbt........
but that is the way that the lgbt wanted it...... and with the mail that the person sent you..... they are revealing the same attitude.........
now people will argue that its about preventing discrimination and protecting the LGBT community.....lol.... interesting and true, is the fact that we are preventing discrimination by DISCRIMINATING against people that do not fit our opinion of what is suitable and what is not
so I am not gonna bash the sender of the email.... cos they are simply doing that the LGBT activists are doing...... pushing the LGBT agenda on our rights, our protection, our needs, our wants..... and proving that not everybody wants to be part of that
delilah..... I have no issues with you in bisexual.com.... and the same applies to every other person in bisexual.com.....I have no issues with them being in the site either, regardless of how I feel about their attitude and opinion......
I am simply bearing in mind, that if I was to demand that the sender of the mail was banned or dealt with...... that I am not asking for action to be taken against the sender of the mail... but that I am asking that another person lose the right to express a opinion that I do not share.....and that the sneder of the mail is prasticing the same discrimination against a non bisexual, that the bisexual community are complaing about non bisexuals doing
hugs ya delilah

Delilah,
It's good that you wrote about this but I hope you didn't reply to the person who wrote you that email or waste any more time or energy on them.
I've gotten hateful emails from people on other sites, and even nasty PMs from people from this site who say how I'm a total fag based on my profile and how I should just come out now.
These aren't regular posters and even if they were I would not out them because it's just playing into giving them the attention and drama that they crave/need/want.
Just keep on posting here and ignore viewpoints like that and closed minded people like that.
I think it's fine that you're not bisexual and that you're here on this site.

OMG!
This site does have other bisexual supporters but thats ok right? Is it cause Delilah is infact a non op transexual?
What about all the male partners of bisexuals themselves? Or the female partners.
I agree with Gel.
This is discrimination.

Delilah, the next time some asshole sends you such an email, tell them Wutheringheights says: lick my scrotum.
I agree with GEL that you should out this person if you could even be bothered with them.
In any case, I extend all my support to you and fuck them.

As hard as it is, always keep in mind that what someone says to you or about you is more about them than it is about you.
You are a beautiful person, and they are hateful fucks. So there.

I personally think you did the right thing by not outing whomever it is. Sending hate mail back and forth is no way to solve a problem and more than likely it wouldn't change their opinion a bit.
Delilah, you seem like a very very confident person. And I doubt that anything this sender said to you affected you too awful much. You know we love you and want you around...and that's all that really matters.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Think of it as spam -- delete, expunge, and try to put it behind you. Think of all the bisexuals who support you as much as you support them.

It is always a tough choice to decide how to handle "nasty grams" from USDA 100% Prime Grade Assholes---
I think you have done right in the way you have handled it----
It does seem that this is just one more indication of the kind of crap going on at this site---which as I think I have made clear--both pisses me off to no end and also sorta saddens me----
As some have noted in other posts on related matters----the Internet has long been a place that a great deal of nastiness and incivility have reigned almost from it's inception.
I remember back when I got my first computer that could access the Net back in the late 80s or early 90s--the 'net was vastly different than it was now---I remember finding one of those usenet groups or whatever they called chat places then--they had no fancy fonts, pictures, smileys, and otherwise looked very nice--more like a script that was hard to read that was white on a black background much like a chalk board.
The people there immediately flamed me very nastily for being an "Internet neophyte" or some such.
That was when the folks who used the Internet were pissed that their little world was starting to change and they were getting invaded by the unwashed masses and all of that!!
Over the years, before I found this site--I found lots of chat sites---and with but one exception---there was a lot of unpleasantness found at them.
It is too bad that all of that finally made its way to this site and has seemed to firnly insert itself.
I am sorry that you had some Ahole send you that nasty gram Delilah!!!! But I think you are more than capable of holding your own and dealing with a 25 watt light bulb brained individual whose brain is about to totallly burn out.
The rest of us are with you dear. Thanks for letting us know about this.

<<<<<Hands Delilah a tall glass of iced tea, with EXTRA ice, and pats the seat next to her>>>>> Sit next to me, sweetie...I've been told I don't belong here numerous times and believe me, it makes me wonder if they are right. BUT...I think about all the wonderful people I have met here and all that they have taught me and shared with me....how many times they have made me laugh and given me things to ponder....how they have expanded my vocabulary beyond my middle aged scope, LOL!!...and I realize that YES...I do belong....I many not be exactly like the rest, but I love, respect and accept each and every one of them (ok...well there ARE a few exceptions) and I do feel that many return my feelings. Hell yeah I belong and hell yeah YOU belong!!!!...this is a community that SUPPORTS bisexuals...the only criteria necessary to fit in.
Now let me get you some more ice for your tea and we'll discuss shoes!!! Big hugs to ya, Del...you not only belong here but you bring a breath of fresh air every time you enter the chat room!!!
Hugs,
Kate

dam to think it would happen in here is appaling, these are hipocrites , people who live in glass houses shouldent throw stones, we bisexuals are just as vunerable as anyother for the bigot idiots. hatetred knows no boundrys for these people and to think a bisexual would stoop to bigotry is the ultimate in hippocriticle behaviour. stay here i for one want you here, gay bisexual, tv what ever, bisexual is only a lable, people are so much hung up on lables, you are a human being with desires wants and needs just like anyone else, and the fact that your desires wants or needs differ or your looks differ dosent bother me a bit, i find you sexy looking even though i am a bisexual bottom, i would love to meet and possibly play with you. i dont judge people, if i like them i like them if i dont, i leave them alone but dont judge them. people tend to be scared, and even hate someone that is different. i tend to want to know them more. for the different people make it more interesting, like if everyone was the same it would get old fast lol.
peace and blessings to you - pan/|\

Delilah,
It was because of similar attitudes that I split the scene from transgendered forums.
I dont think we have the right to proclaim ourselves as holier than thou, or better than anyone. Juat because someones path may be different from ours is no reason to feel that they are lesser beings.
I myself am pre-op. But your choice to be non-op doesnt make me better, or further along than you are. It simply means that we are two sepreate people.
I would no more force you to live my life than expect me to live yours.
This person, who wrote this email, I suspect is very insecure about their identity.
I'm sorry this happened to you sis & let me state for the record that I am glad and proud to call you sister. I know how it feels to be a bit of an outsider. we should all be able to recognize that feeling of not quite fitting in.
((((((((((((Delilah)))))))))))))
Be well,
