Some idiot on the site with a brand new fake profile has decided to "warn" my friends about me, so I figure it's time for some rumor control. I'm pretty sure I know who this asshole is, but since I can't prove it I won't make any accusations. Anyway, the rumor he's spreading is that I''m Bi-polar, but don't take medications for it and that I'm harassing a friend of his via email & IM. In case anybody else has gotten this "warning" I want to clarify the whole thing right now. The first part is true. I am Bi-polar & I don't take meds. The only one I've ever found that didn't make my mental health worse nearly killed me, so I'd rather handle it through diet & keeping my stress levels in check. The part about harassing somebody is unmitigated bullshit. That is just really not my style. If I had a problem with anybody on here, I'd just tell them to fuck off & wouldn't talk to them. I know most of you won't really care about this, but I'm not going to hide it & if you are going to hear about my condition I would rather you heard it from me than some coward who doesn't have the balls to confront me directly.

As I told the person who "Warned" me. Whatever beef they have with Denver is Their delimma, not mine. I used to tutor people who were bi-polar, and who had similar, and worse, malady's. I'm a big girl, I can handle it if it ever arises.
If a person has trouble with another, then he/she/it should take it up with the person involved, not send out some kind of muck-raking email. I dont know them, and dont know whether the info is valid or not. Whichever the case may be, I much prefer to ascertain this for myself.

I understand about rumors. At least here, people are more open minded and stick with the facts. Rumors hurt people if permitted.
I have boycotted Urnotalone and tsgirlfriends because they automatically assumed I am an escort and/or porn star. The moderators were split with here say. Don't get me wrong, there are some really cool people in there. But majority over ruled and I was banned from tsgirlfriends even though they don't have solid proof. They voted, and out I went with a label "Internet Hooker". I never got banned from Urnotalone, but those people went in there proudly tell others how they booted out a she-male escort.

Well, to begin with I suspected someone I now think I was being unkind & unfair to. I'm glad I didn't make any public accusations :eek:They referred to me by name & I've never really talked about my illness on here, so I was thinking that info was pretty limited and that the suspect list was therefore pretty small. A friend pointed out though that I had told everybody my name a while back in a thread about them & I realized I have a link to my myspace page on my profile & I've blogged about dealing with shrinks on there. This means of course, that anybody who wanted to make the effort could have found all of this out. I think now that our resident troll is just getting a little more creative.

Bisexualman---you cannot go back and review a series of past posts made under an ever increasing number of names on the boards since the site management deleted both the profiles and the offending posts--but just go and check the boards going back to about late February or early March---you will see that since that time-- there are a number of posts deleted by Drew under many names--if you could see those posts--you would see certain patterns that make it clear--all were done by one person---they are done at the same relative time of day--done in what I call "drive by" style like "cuntlapper" has done here this morning with similar if not exactly the same topics covered and expressed in the same language--this time HE was shooting his spewings out with a Tech 9 to keep up the gangbanga theme---and it fits--since I am sure the "perp" in this case--at least his original personality-- supposedly hails from California!!

I think a lot of people enjoy the intimacy here.
While it's been said that regarding sex, women are more like irons (heat up and cool down slowly) and men are more like light switches (instant on/instant off), I think intimacy is the other way around. I think it's harder for men to feel safe and share and be intimate while women seem much more able to 'switch gears'.
Of course this is a generalization, far from being written in stone, but still holds a 'ring' to it like the "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" litany of male/female traits.
That said, what man wants to expose his true unpretentious self with the 'drive by poster' taking... increasingly researched shots. He's not getting what he needs and is therefore honing his skills at manipulating a reaction, getting people on the defensive.
Some of us desire the potential intimacy of this site (some are just looking for sex - which is fine). Our mentally ill 'drive by poster' is a destroyer of that type of environment... probably because he's jealous... that he can never achieve the intimacy he sees here.
