Some of you will know me most not,
I just had to say my father in law passed away this morning.
He was a very proud man and i was so lucky to marry his daughter.
For anyone who cares my wife is pretty cool with me being bisexual,
i think her dad introduced her to tolerance.
We have a four year old boy and i hope he will follow his papas proud legacy

So very sorry for your loss tatt. Sounds like he was a fine man! The best way we can honor those who have passed is to pass along their fine teachings and strong convictions to our own kids! My condolences to your family!

Hugs,
Kate

Our condolences to you and your family on the loss of your Father in law.

The loss of a family member is always difficult, but it sounds like he was a good man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him, as it is with all good people.

Know that, no matter what belief system he followed, he is in a better place and knows that he is missed and was greatly loved.

I offer my condolences also.

As to how to help, just listen to her nonjudgementally, and give her lots of hugs. Unless you've lost your own, and even if you have, you'll never know how she feels, so don't go there. Just love her as you always have and know that it will take ages for her to come round again.

Tatt,
I lost my father years ago but I can still remember as if it were yesterday how devastating that is (even with a father-in-law). My thoughts and prayers will include you and your families during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and the other family diagnoses.
Last week marked the tenth anniversay of my parents passing. They were both ill and passed within a few months of each other. It still hurts way deep down but with time has become easier to survive.

Hugs and good wishes,

I'm so very saddened by your loss hun. Life comes to an end for all but that doesn't make it any easier, then to have the additional struggle of family members with life threatening issues must be devastating. Feel free to post here anytime to vent or ask for opinions or whatever you need. We're here for you and your family.

Luv and kisses,
