I was out and about today and saw a really cute :female::female: couple holding hands and looking all loved up. I always have the urge to smile uncontrollably when I see same sex couples holding hands! Anyway they both smiled back perhaps their gaydar picked up my approval lmao! It put a big grin on my fast for the rest of my walk home .

Does anyone get all Gooey inside when they see same sex couples holding hands? Or am I just a soppy sad bastard .

I have always been a little uncomfortable with public displays of affection. It doesn't matter if its gays are straights. I'm not talking about a peck on the cheek or holding hands....but the couples that go in for heavy making out, with their hands all over each other, and the tongues inside each other's mouths. I'm not saying these activities aren't fun...but they belong in the bedroom..not on the boardwalk. :2cents:

I just enjoy seeing anyone happy and obviously pleased with being whoever they're with. Of course, there's limits to what I feel is appropriate in public, but neither of the following cases were what I'd call outlandish.

My cousin lived with her lover for over 40 years and I enjoyed being with them, not because they were gay, but because they had that glow that happy people exude.

There is a very large married couple, who I see now and then, around here. I see them holding hands, laughing, and being cheerful. I've heard others saying crude things about them and their looks.

Once I heard, "How can they be happy when they're that fat?"

As far as I'm concerned, they've found what makes them happy, so I'm thrilled for them!

Hav nev been uncomfy at public displays a affection..in fact..me has had the odd 1 or 2 mesel in me time.. an a bloody site moren a peck on cheek.. we get in 2 lil prob 'ere.. if we believe in freedom a the individual.. dus agree that those who don wanna shudn havta look at the likes a me snoggin an canoodlin in street..on beach or wereva.. but peeps like me who wanna snog an canoodle wereva we r...wer is our freedom 2 do so? Think we r at an impasse..so suggest ya jus go bout wivya eyes closed.. cant think of ne otha solution..

Sum activities hun r as much fun in kitchen as bedroom..stairs, landin, shower, or bathroom.. an otha places..believe me.. not sayin we shud allow an force peeps 2 wotch us havin our end away wereva we like .. howeva..sum peeps like that sorta thing an all.. but doin that kinda ends the mystique a sex such as it is..luff me tongue in me partners mouth...an 'ers in mine...tongue tangos we dus beautifully an very erotically..an god..dus that gimme goosebumps.. am sorry hun..can mayb go long wivya bout sum things..but bout snoggin an hugglin in public in a deep affectionate sense.. not gonna stop us doin that...:tong:

Ah these girls where not kissing or anything they were just holding hands (its very cold at the moment in the UK) and looking all happy .

Ye there is a limit to PDA's but I'm just thinking of walking along in each others arms kinda thing. God I'm such a girl  (I love it really) :bipride:.

Yes I am just the same, Giggles100. Everytime I see a same sex couple holding hands or just being cute, I can't help but look at them a go "Awwww."

Ditto. It just warms my heart to see a same sex couple have the courage to show their love for one another. Now to see them kiss in public warms a totally different part of my body and appropriate action must eventually be taken.;)

I think it is wonderful to see folks that obviously care for one another: same sex or otherwise. Does not have to be holding hands,or even kissing, could just be they way they look at one another. Life is to short not to love.

I love it when couples display affection towards each other - holding hands, arms round waist, tiny rubs of bottoms and the odd peck etc etc.
- it matters not a whit to me whether they be str8, gay, brindle or Galloping Calathumpian.

I do, like a few others, feel there is a limit - nothing is more in bad taste than a couple just going for it (kissing) in a public place or grovelling at the beach.

I wonder when its happening - who are they doing it for? Themselves? I think they're actually trying to big-note themselves.
"Hey, look at US!!!!! We're "in love!!!" (yeah!)

And btw, On a trip to the City the other day with Chrissie - we openly held hands :female::female: :) (a first!!) It does take time to adjust!!!

totally agree..

I am all for PDA regardless if the couple is str8, gay, or even old (lol)... but when people are gawking and saying or thinking "get a room", well thats a bit too much.

I've always treated others as I wanted to be treated so if its good for me to do it then its ok for someone else. I've always been in favor of holding hands or even the gentle kiss in public. Why not show the person who you are with how you feel? When they don't want to show PDA then in my opinion they are cold!

A certain degree of PDA is fine--but like ya said--some people--especially "young couples in young love"--my God--they are like appendages of each other---that always sorta bugged me--even when I was of that age.

Even in the times that I did some "naughty things" in public places----my partners and I did them when not many people were around, under the cover of darkness and such----

I do want to tell those people who are groping and hanging all over each other in public---"get a room--or at least go find a closet or something to do it in!":bigrin::);)

I'm not big on PDA. Quick pecks, hugs, hand holding, and all that I see no problem and it makes me feel good to see people in love acting this way. I guess I feel the same way whether they are a straight couple or not.

On the other hand, anything more than this I tend to cringe away from, whether it is a straight couple or not haha.

Sorry! Boca, I had misread your, 'gentle kiss in public' as a genital kiss in public. I thought he/she lives in an interesting neighbourhood.

Brings a whole new meaning to seeing your Partner off to work with a goodbye kiss...at least until the window-cleaner arrives.

On an entirely different note I like your new pic Riss, very pretty.
