MY FUCKIN BLACKBERRY THAT I'VE HAD FOR THREE DAYS JUST BROKE!
That was the only way I could talk to my husband which is sort of expensive as hell because of roaming charges anyway...now I have to spend MORE money to get a new one! I've been cursing for about 20 minutes. This is the second damn phone in the past two weeks that has gone stupid on me! I'm so pissed my face is red!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I have insurance on it but I still have to pay a deductable that is almost half the price of the phone anyway...but now i have to go out tomorrow to fax the claims stuff, wait for them to call me back to finish making the claim, then wait for them to ship me another one...

Yup but what happened was my dog knocked it off of my coffee table with his tail. So because it fell, any kind of free phone deal I could have gotten is out the window. HOWEVER...I'm pissed because my coffee table is on CARPET and it's only one and a half feet high! That should not have been enough to ruin the screen on that friggin phone so it seems as though this phone wasn't made as durable as it was supposed to be...but I can't prove that or anything so it doesn't matter. All I can do is make a claim, pay some money, and wait for another one.

Uhm..how are they going to call you back if the phone is broken? Does it state anywhere in the contract that the phone cannot be replaced if its dropped? It should be a hell of alot more sturdy than that, especially for the price of the blasted things nowdays....
Good Luck Babygirl.

i have a house phone cat. And I never sat down and read the contract but generally if it starts going bad or this happens just from regular usage then it's covered by them at their loss, if it is something that could be seen as happening because of neglect, no matter the circumstances, then it's not their problem.

Whew...ok...I made the claim today (for the first time in a long time when dealing with anything customer service related over the phone...it was short, simple, and I got off the phone feeling quite pleased...). I paid my deductable and all that jazz and I should have my new phone by tomorrow, Monday at the LATEST. I was assuming that that they probably were not even going to ship it out until Monday like how verizon usually works, but they don't so I'm relieved and happy that I can finally take a breather haha.

I've used blackberries for years and years. My first was a used hand me down from my daughter. I really abused the phone. But, it kept working for years. Even dropped it out of my pick up a few times. When I finally crunched it for good, ATT gave me a new blackberry for a deep discount. I have had it trouble free for over two years and still going strong.
Judging from what you all have said so far, I guess I have been very lucky.

I access this site on an old Blackberry I bought second-hand. It is an older model without a built in camera but otherwise it does everything I want of it. One of my better purchases, I would recommend them to anyone.
Of course I haven't played football with it, or used it as a stick to throw for the dog. And being a mere male I always read the instructions and the contracts too.
Now if only women came with a set of instructions we men might make some sense out of them.lol
At the very least we could send them back to the manufacturer with a note saying some of the parts seem to be missing.lol

You see, it's funny, my best friend told me last night that half the people she knows with blackberries complain about them. I, on the other hand, no about 2 dozen people who have one and I have heard nothing but praise from every person.

Are they Blackberry Tours? If so, then yes, I feel depressed that we are not closer haha.
