For many bisexuals and bi curious, who are only 2 or 3 on the scale they swing between feeling straight or bi depending on different circumstances in their day to day lives. For some its simply when they feel horny or see a member of the same sex that gets them hot, for others it rises from low self esteem or feeling depressed. So what is it that triggers those feelings in you if you fit in that category?

My bisexuality seems to swing on a pendulum, but even as it swings, there's certain criteria that must be in place before I'll get involved. I've gone for years without a male lover, but never long without a female lover. I've been in a kind of dry spell for some time, now, regarding a male. I'm sure my age and ability to meet new folks has something to do with it.

I do correspond with a couple of guys who are very appealing to me, but both live too far away.

I'm also very relationship-oriented and have never had, nor do I want, a one-night stand, or mindless sex, just for the sake of sex. Being very picky and inflexible doesn't help me to find a male lover, either.
