The Gay Pride festival will be held in Olympia Washing this coming June 12th and 13th at Sylvester Park. There will be tons of booths and entertainment (My booth included) ;)
This is a great event and I'd love to have some of ya'll from the nearby areas come by my booth and say hello. It'll be the Veterans booth across from the Urban Onion on Sylvester Ave. Look for the American flag and POW windsock and you'll find me..

Olympia is a nice city. Went there a couple of times when I lived in Lacey.

I'm not sure if I will be there or not. I should go - the group I volunteer with will be down there - but I've got family in town and my daughter's ballet recital and my son's birthday and and and... way too much to do!
But maybe I can sneak down there for a little bit...
Peace

This was such fun, Ya'll. For a change the weather was fantastic and it was estimated that we had over 5,000 people attending from 9 am, to 7 pm. It was great! There were like 20 bands in all. Got to see and listen to Coyote Grace sing, and Demented Youth,(A group that dedicates all of their tips to local Children With Aids charitys) The Gay Boys choir(who were HILarious) and several others that I didnt get the names of...
Got to watch our local Drag Queens dancing and singing, and tons of people were dressed in Gay and Lesbian and Bi and Trans colors. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food booths Did have to be right across from us..lol
There were raffles, and prizes, and so much to do that no one could have possibly gotten bored. Especially with all of the "Eye Candy" walking around...many very scantily clad because of the wonderful heat. *Cheezy grin*
Wish Ya'll coulda been there!

I got mine comming up in two weeks, and it is always a blast. Toronto's Pride is a week long with events happening every night. The Grand Finale is a massive parade with well over a million in attendance. Absolutely crazy times!!! And lots of wet, naughty nakedness too. Woo hoo!!!
