I must admit when I first saw this I cringed but then after I saw the baby remained safe I just started smiling.

Yeah, all the time, you're expecting the toddler to fall off the table.

What an amazing dancer the child was. Totally natural rhythm and control. i hope he doesn't lose the ability to move like that. Quite amazing.

OK, as a mother, I have to make some comments.

First of all...
I think the boy is older than he first appears. The difference in agility between 2 years old and 4 years old is vast. We assume because he is wearing a diaper that he is a toddler. I think not, I think he just LOOKS young.

Second thought...
Children (and adults) are capable of doing many things with their bodies when not inhibited. The boy has such a good hip thrust because it is socially acceptable in his culture. Here, if a child does that, they are told to "Stop, that doesn't look nice".

Third thought...
The boy is copying someone off camera. He periodically stops, looks and starts again. He didn't memorize the dance or anything.

OK, now that I have overanalyzed the video....
This is hilarious, and the boy does have talent. The girl and/or boy that meets him later in life is lucky (wink wink nod nod).

LOL Rock, that's why I was cringing at first, cause as a mom..oh boy. But yes babies dance a lot and the baby in that vid looked to me to be around 3 years old.

I can well remember my youngest doing much the same thing. My dad kept him while I worked and the others were at school. He used to turn his directtv to the music stations and set it to show bubbles and the boy would dance his little head off. Thinking of it he did a lot of the same moves minus the hip thrusts just a natural dancing to the rhythm of the music.
