Just over five weeks now to the 15th [B][URL="http://september23.bi.org/"]Bi Visibility Day[/URL][/B]. This started out as a little thing in 1999 and seemed to stay a pretty low profile event for the following seven or eight years, with just a handful of groups marking the date round the world. It really seems to have taken off the last three years or so though - I think social media like twitter has been important in that, as people have used the date as a reason to post about bi stuff, change their online icons to be bi flags and so on, and so awareness has spread more and more each year.
