Not much happening here on the Ontario page... but May 28th is significant in Canada and Ontario. The federal Conservative Party has voted to recognize that marriage isn't exclusively between a man and a woman; that it can be between same sex couples! This has been the law of the land and has been in practice for years. The previous Conservative govt. was LGBT positive, but they needed to change the language in their party policy papers. So, as of today, it's a done deal. And more than doubled the evangelical/religious radical opposition. Great work was done by the LGBTory.com organization.
